“You can’t just give up on someone because the situation is not ideal. Great relationships are not great because they have no problems. They are great because both people care enough about the other person to find a way to make it work”
Hello,
Thanks for stopping by,
In a world that often feels disconnected and anxious, is there a way to find a connection and a greater meaning to life? At the heart of who we are, our capability and desire for connection and acceptance gives purpose and meaning to our lives. We are all worthy of love and belonging, but in order to have an emotional connection we need to be vulnerable and show ourselves for who we truly are. The need for human connection is innate, but the ability to form loving relationships is learnt. Vulnerability is the birthplace of connection. It allows us to build trust, intimacy, joy and have a deep sense of gratitude for being accepted unconditionally. Family, friends, loved ones, parents and children. Through all types of relationships, compassion, mutual respect, trust and honest communication underpin the ability to build something of value.
The relationship we have with ourselves is the foundation for all other relationships. In seeking acceptance and building a rapport with others, we first have to learn to love ourselves for who we are. But do we?
This blog is about the deepest passion that I have for all of us to strive to be the best version of ourselves that we can within relationships. We will learn how to connect, why we disconnect and how to start dating again. Raising our self-awareness and connecting to our inner self is a journey that truly never ends. Understanding and embracing who we are, enables us to reach the most authentic intimate connection that we can attain with ourselves and with others.
I hope you enjoy reading
With warmest affection
